Baby needs a new set of shoes.
Where is the absolute cheapest source for Kenda's?
Thanks

K270s are a good 50/50 tire, BUT I ride them 80 20 street /dirt. I commute 150 miles a day on them with no problems, they are so cheap it doesn't matter if they wear a little faster, they HOOK up in the dirt. I mounted my Kenda 270 rear tire last week and went for a ride to some old mines around here. The Kenda seems a little more wobbly than the old stock Dunlop. Probably because the Dunlop was almost bald, and therefore has no room for "knob-flex". Rides just fine on the highway. In the dirt, this tire was awesome. I really liked it's dirt performance. Yes 5 days a week? Yes Year round? Except when my bike is broken. ( On the stock seat?) Yes> 150 miles a day?
Close, I have a Y2K KLR with about 45-50K on the clock. My Odometer quit working at 35 or 36k> Allowing 2 weeks for (non KLR) vacation, thats 37,500 miles a year.
depends on what tires i am running and how bald i let them get before I get new ones, My last Kendas had about 50% of the knobs thrown off, many with cord showing.. then Andy hooked me up with some slightly used Avon Gripsters, That was right about this time last year. I rode those gripsters untill they almost fell off , about 10 months. Then put on K270's again and will replace them every 3 or 4 months Dale> So how many sets of tires per year does this involve?

I'm curious how many of those miles are on the highway? I'm considering a set of Kendas but don't know how well they'll work on the highway. When I use my bike for commuting, it will be about 80 miles roundtrip on the highway. Will the Kendas be OK? Thanks, Leon Droby> > 150 miles a day? > Yes > > 5 days a week? > Yes

I drive 200 miles on Kendas one way on the highway on occasional weekend trips with no problems. I get between 5K-6k miles from a set and they wear evenly as a set for me. The K270 is the value leader in a DS tire. Mark B2 A2 A3>At 4:32 PM -0500 3/12/02, Leon Droby wrote: >I'm curious how many of those miles are on the highway?
