I stopped at the local BMW dealer this week and I saw on the maintenance
schedule for GS models a recommendation to change the air in the tires every
2500 miles. At the same recommendation of the oil change. They didn't have
a separate cost list for this, it was just part of the $275 fee for the
service interval. I asked why and got an answer about moisture buildup or
something. I wonder if they use Nitrogen?
How often does Kawasaki recommend you guys change the air in your KLR tires?
How often do you do it?
I like to do my own maintenance and I don't want to neglect any critical
items.
Thanks

I'm told that Nitrous Oxide works well; you're not very far from a good
time, although some addictive qualities are there..........

And don't forget to rotate the spark plug. The potential long-term
effect of neglecting this maintenance item is huge....
(Exchange the air, why wouldn't that really surprise me with the
Beemer crowd. I used to own one.....)

Easy to do, but ensure you use High-Temp Muffler Bearing grease.

What weights more, a pound of Arizona air, or a pound of Muffler bearing
grease? How about a trade, grease for air?
