I spoke to quite a few KLR riders last summer. At least one group of three
from Quebec. Maybe not the same guys or maybe I'm too damn ugly to
photograph!!

The new road should be open in September 2002. Are you ready to face the
snows of Labrador in September again? LOL!
In the meantime, it'll soon be time for us to talk Bike Week plans again.
I'll be dropping you a line soon.
Cheers,
Steve

If anybody happens to scan the article and puts it in an Acrobat pdf file
and just happens to email me a copy I'd appreciate it.

nklr i'm tired of pricey 12 volt plugs! try this...

This is on my to do list.
I'm chaning all my 12 cigarette plugs to BNC video adaptors! I've been in
the video business for years and know these connectors hold up under all
conditions (have you seen a satellite news truck in the snow? same
connectors). You could even get "T" connectors to split the voltage to 2
devices. They sell surface mount ones that screw in and you can buy plastic
caps to protect them when not in use. The conductor is well protected and
the fitting is locking (push down & turn 1/4).
If you had a GPS that you still wanted to use in your cage you could make an
adaptor to refit your cig. plug. I'll let the list know my results. I'll be
installing them on my latest KLRDash with built in GPS holder.
For anyone wondering... The "how to change a tire" addition to my valve tape
is slowly coming along. If the subject were more exciting it would be easier
to finish. Maybe I need to add some naked women? No, that would only
distract me more.
