Hello Everyone, I just bought a brand new KLR650-C. I am new to the Dual-purpose world. I pick the bike up the end of may. I have to take the motorcycle course first. the bike is only marketed in Canada,Europe and I think in Australia. I would like to get a new rear-rack and side-racks for it. the footpeg brackets are different on the klr650-c than the klr650-a. the bracket on the 650-c appears to be welded on and the 650-a is bolted. so there are no bolts or holes to attach to. the plastic on the back of the bike is a little different also. the holes dont seem to line up to allow the use of the 650-a racks. I spoke to the head distributor of parts for Kawasaki Canada. he said the 650-a outsells the 650-c by ten to one on Canada so they do not market anything for it. I want to get this baby ready to roll by spring. I dont want to be driving down the QEW with Rubbermaid Rufftotes bungee corded to the back of my bike. They might match the colour of the bike but thats all. If any Canadian,European or Austrailians read this maybe you can give me some help. thank you. Robert

I'm in Ontario but just bought an A15 after checking out the C model. I fitted a Givi trunk on mine and it is huge - 52L. It uses a Givi mounting rack that just bolts on to the existing rack - you need to drill two holes in the Kawi rack as it's a universal mounting plate. There's a picture of it in the Photos section under Luggage/Givi E52 - the picture is taken not far from the QEW :-) Bob DR350S KLR650-A15
