Thanks to Arden I was able to update the Kawasaki KLR timeline page. The site now contains original factory brocure photos of the 1987/A1 and the 1989/A3. The page is at: http://home.austin.rr.com/ironjungle/klrhistory.html Pat / Austin

Are the '96, '97, and '98 KLRs the exact same color scheme. They look it, but it seems unlikely the bikes would look EXACTLY alike three years running. Any help? Pat

My '98 is a dead ringer for what you have posted. Except for the scratches, that is. - Bryan A12

OK electricians, here goes. I have two empty bracket holes, just inside my left leg. They are there because I stripped the smog crud off. First, I need to know how to switch to spade fuses, and where to gfet the stuff. I've been to O' Reilly's, Pep Boys, Home Depot, and Autozone. I'm not an electrician, so I don't exactly understand how to accomplish this feat. Any help would be appreciated. Happy Holidays Jim Texas Thumpin
