I owned a 92 Connie that I rode 14,000 miles and tried to sell in
94. I took a $2,500.00 loss on that sale. I bought a 89 BMW R100GS
in 95 rode it 35,000 miles and sold it in 2000 for a $500.00 profit.
Also bought a 74 BMW R90S in 98 and sold it in 2001 for a $300.00
profit.
You figure which is the cheaper transportation.
But, I do love my KLR and R1150GS

So you are saying that you sold your GS for $500 more than you paid for it plus the maintenance of it including tires, oil and filter changes. I seriously doubt that a Connie is more expensive to maintain than a BMW GS. Gino> > I owned a 92 Connie that I rode 14,000 miles and tried to sell in > 94. I took a $2,500.00 loss on that sale.
