airbox seal

I've always gone around it with a silicone sealant - make sure its one that dries flexible. I think tube has a lip either side where it meets the airbox, but sili sealing can't hurt. Seems to be some kind of sealant on there from the factory. Rich

progressive springs klr650

Well I installed the Progressive front springs last night. My bike only has 3000 miles on it and the oil I drained out was a nasty blackish grey color. Wow I guess I will have to change this more often. But on the way to work this morning I came to the first stop sign and nailed the brakes and screech to a stop. Wow with the new brake line and without the frontend collapsing under heavy braking this thing actually stops halfway decent. I want to thank everyone for suggesting these springs night and day difference. Now its time to install the new rear spring.
