The cheap way is Forward Air.
www.forwardair.com. They only serve
certain cities but are cheap. Call them for a quote. The shipper
will have to be "forward air friendly" and crate and drop it off at
the terminal. It is a no brainer for dirt bikes but is not too good
for big street bikes.
Federal Allied is the easy way, have it picked up at a business, your
house (more money), or ride it up to the Allied terminal. Have it
dropped at any of the 3. Pay thru the nose

We are talking 5-700
for a big bike. Take a look in your AMA magazine for Federal
Allied's ad and use your AMA discounted rate with them.
Leo in Houston.

Speaking of which, last Monday I earned my motorcycle endorsement
after 20+ years of riding and 3 road accidents. One of which was my
fault. (slipped on sand) I fully expect to receive 95% fewer
accidents.
