well, for about 10 seconds, anyway.... i was on vacation, and had the pleasure of experiencing my first real wreck on pavement- in 20+ years of riding!! i was paying a little too much attention to the sights and my passenger, and ran into the back of a truck that had stopped in the middle of the road. i managed to get it down to about 15mph (i think??) upon impact... i stayed on when i hit, but the rear end flew up and when it came down i was deposited upon the pavement, cracking my arm a good one. i didnt know that i knew so many swear words! the amazing part my klr sustained virtually no damage.....the front rim was a-OK, but i did bend the fairing supports some- they went back into place with the help of a vice no prob though. so, i cant say ive never dumped it on the road anymore....*sniff* and i gotta wear this damn sling for another 2 weeks...... so anyhow, i gotta say remember to be careful.....you never know when you might eat it, even if you have an over-inflated sense of invincibility like me.... cheers -rob atomic seattle hard trance/goa live pa http://www.evergo.net/~atomic

Absolutely, that's also the first thing *I* do with a new installation. I have never quite figured out why Micro$oft decided that it makes it a more user friendly experience to NOT know exactly what file type you're working with. Although my extensions are turned on, and all files unhidden, Outlook Express - even in its latest incarnation - wasn't intelligent enough to show the .DAT extension until I got into the attachment itself.
