airbox pre-filter

No doubt that this old trick is old news to many of you guys.
But....I recently talked with a guy that's been riding dirt for some years, &
it was news to him. I don't recall seeing this addressed on the list, so at
risk of preaching to choir....
A thin coat of motor oil (dino or synthetic) applied to the inside of your
airbox will help to trap alot of sand/dust that would normally reach your air
filter.
It's alittle bit more of a hassle having to clean up/re-oil the airbox, every
time you clean your filter...but it makes for a cheap pre-filter that works.
