I am rebuilding my klr and I have longshot question I hope someone can
answer... I need to know the i.d. of the leftside case half bearing race
to see if it is in spec, I dug up my caliper and am going to check it
for being in the round but the actual spec would be great. The race
doesn't look chewed or anything but the tolerance has to be pretty
close, I imagine. If you know the crank journal sizes/tolereances even
better.
The manual says replace the cases as a pair if the left race is messed
up - anyone had the race pressed out and replaced, would it have to be
line bored? I would really like any info I can get before I order up
the new crank, which is more reasonebly priced than I would have thought
at 429$ USD.
