I was wondering how many Super Sherpa owners are out there. It seems
that this site is overwhelmingly populated by KLR650 owners. I have
a '00 Sherpa with 2500 miles on it and enjoy it very much for around
town (90%) and light to moderate trail riding (10%). It sure is
easier to get around town with than my Pacific Coast! If any of you
have one, let us know what you like and do not like about it. Thanks
to all who respond.

Hmm.. "DSN_KLR650" I wonder why it's mostly KLR riders? It does seem
that the group welcomes just about any bike as long as they are interested
in riding and not trying to troll/spam. A Sherpa certainly fits into the
DualSport group (though I wish the front fender was up, but if it was it
would leave a lot of that engine exposed to mud/rocks/debris..). The Sherpa
is also another candidate for my height-challenged (short!) roomate along
with the XT225. Too bad the KLR250 doesn't have an electric start option.

I used one for my MSF class. It was light, nimble and quiet. I hear
they get great gas mileage. Wouldn't mind having one some day.

I don't know if this counts, but my sister has one with a little over 8,000
miles on it, and is very happy with it...

There are two universal truths that apply to all firearms:
There is no such thing as an unloaded gun.
No husband was ever shot by his wife while he was washing the dishes.
