I'm trying to get some feedback on the different oversized front rotors available for the KLR. MAP Engineering & Galfer both make one. Any first-hand experience out there? Also, has anyone tried the fork brace from Tim Bernard? Thank You.

Yup! I have both (M.A.P. Eng. and the fork brace and IMO they are...The rotor and standoff-bracket are outstanding. Use the green Gal. pads for the front and the black for the back brake. A very well made part. The brace is outstanding engineering. Use blue locktight on every bolt on it and all of the other nuts and bolts on the bike. You can get these items from Fred @ Arrowhead Motorsports. VR Tom

I've got a lot of writing to get done in the next month, so I'll be going logging off for a bit. Hope to check in on the web site occasionally. Ralph Ralph E. Hanson rhanson40@... 99 KRL 650 http://www.wvu.edu/~journal2/west
