Greetings yall. Been real busy riding and such so havent checked in
in a while. Did 967 miles in 3 days last week and about 300 every
weekend this month.
One of my riding brothers just got his Dakar last week and I had the
pleasure of riding it about 30 miles today. I can honestly say that
it is a joy. The center of gravity remarkable and it just looks
frikin cool. Has to be broken in b4 I can give it the beat down but
I'll clue ya in after I can pound the little bastard for an afternoon.
This Summer I have:
a.Scrapped my foot pegs on a turn for the first time...sigh
b. Buried my klr past the muffler in an innnocent bog.
c. Told one fat Harley rider that if I have to take my helmet off hes
gonna go to the ER and dentist. (In front of his friends) ( I didnt
have to take my helmet off).
d. perfected the 1st to 2nd gear wheel stand (knobbies too..damn i
rock).
e. Rode my KLR to a title fight (I lost but i was in the ring)
f. My brother and I got to ride our KLRs on the Detroit Tiger Stadium
field....dont ask... but it was legal.
g. Made all of my friends Dual Sport enthusiasts and conisuers.
h. Been having the time of my life beating my A1 silly
I. Broke my foot 3 weeks ago on a log and still rode 195 miles. (only
one way out of the woods).
Take care all you crazy land pirates. I miss all the banter from this
winter. Bless you all and be safe.
PS: My Harley Davidson auto fire missile system is almost ready for
production-order early, this year they will be in 3 different
colors...definetly a crowd pleaser.
