Hey all,
What is everyone using for oil weight in the hot weather of summer. I
am going to change mine and put in 20w50. Then in fall switch to
10w40. Anyone have a better idea?

Just use Mobil 1 15/50 and you never need to switch.

Howboucha Dual-Sporters!
I am gearing up for a great trip of dual-sporting in Colorado on
August 6th to.......
I recently aquired an extremely clean 1981 KL250, and my buddies who
have gone to Colorado before, have told me to take it instead of my
KLR650. I could take both, but I want to eliminate pulling the bikes
on my trailer, and just carry one on my hitch rack on my Rover.
I am looking for advice on getting my 250 prepped for the elevation
and terrain. So if any of you know of some great sites for KL250's,
I would appreciate it.
Also, I am getting ready to finalize the course for the Society for
the Preservation of Motorcyclists, Howboucha.com TT200 Dual Sport
adventure here in Indiana. It will be held on Labor Day. If any of
you are interested in joining us, please send me an e-mail. The
course is designed for bigger dual sport machines, and couples, etc.
Basically a ride for real dual-sport machines, and not a KDX with a
plate from your buddies gold wing strapped on.
Keep two wheeling,
Brendan Kearns
