dr200es - anyone with experiance?

I ran across what I think is a great deal on a '00 Suzuki DR200ES yesterday. Before you groan it's not for me, it's for my 5'4 roomate with very little experiance on a bike save for being my passenger. She's going to the MSF course on the 9th of August, etc. I am going for either the KLR-650 or the DR400ES (still up in the air and will probably go with whichever gets the better deal since I can't recall either owners in this newsgroup ever regretting the purchase..just the sale!)
Aside from being a bit underpowered does anyone have any experiance with this bike? Reliability, aftermarket, ability to get it to maintain reasonable freeway speeds, etc? The one I ran across is a brand new (53mile) bike that was sold by the dealership then repo'd after the owner never made the first payment. Not a mark on it, everything that should be, still has the pips on the tire tread, etc. The factory warranty is still in place and I think they can even transfer the extended warranty (another 2 years) that the original people picked up. The price is, well, quite right for the bike and they will probably come down another $500 or so on it. The main question is whether it's a worthy purchase or would it be better to aim at the XT225 (which I can't recall mentioned anywhere and is likely an antique) or the KLR250 which apparently only comes in the green that neither of us care for..but that has a bit more power and probably more of an aftermarket. Help and suggestions are welcome!!!
