Howzit Listers, How many of you have tried the Split Fire spark plugs on the KLR 650? They also have a Triple Platinum version too. Are they worth it? Do they make the engine run nicer? TIA Eric

They are just the same as NGK or any other - however, platinum plugs conduct spark better...I didn't say make the bike run better, just conduct better. A plug is a plug is a plug. I think the Federal Trade Commision or some other federal governmant organization told Split Fire they had to stop advertising that their plugs increased performance (which they did NOT). After that ruling Plit Fire Lowered the price of their plugs from $7.00 to around $3.00. They also changed the picture of the plug on their advertisment. Now they only show 1 spark across the gap but before the Fed steped in they showed multiple sparks (Impossible in real life).
