Hey Guys, I got my carb rotated to do the drilling of the plug on the
pilot screw but it might have been drilled already. Is the screw
located inside of a projection that hangs down a bit lower that the
rest of the bowl. Its toward the front. It appears that there may
have been something blockiing the brass screw that I can see up
inside the part described above. I also see a small brass collored
dot futher forward and more proximal to the forward gasket area. If
there is a pic somewhere it would be helpful but all I'v found is the
parts diagram which doesn't show the under side of the carb. Thanks
All!

This will give you the pictures you need but it sounds like you've got it. Just turn
it gently to the right to seat it and then back it out 2 1/2 turns...

Thanks A Bunch Kurt! I just got back from a test ride and saw your
post. When all else failes...Experiment. It worked beautifully.
Throttle response is much smoother, Gear changed aren't quite as
tricky. Everything that you guys said is right on! Even the cooler
running. Thanks again! I LOVE THIS LIST!
P.S. I don't know why I'm so resistant to playing around with this
bike mechanically. I'm really pretty good with a wrench. I guess it
just takes time to build a certain level of confidence. Bare with me
I'm trying to get rid of this newbiness!
