2000 klr with red corbin seat - revised: more alternatives

I have to throw in my two cents...
Have you ever considered the Russell Day Long saddle for the KLR? This is
perhaps the best saddle for any distance type riding on the KLR. I have
logged thousands of miles on the Russell and would never consider a stock or
Corbin saddle. I have ridden on stock and Corbin's and found them a total
pain in the "ass".
There is also a company in Northern California (Mayer) that has a saddle
design similar to the Russell.
Here are some helpful links:

I do not have any connection with these companies...but I do own (or have
owned) the following seats:
Stock KLR
Stock ST1100 (now a Russell)
Corbin for a ST1100
Russell for a ST1100
Russell for a KLR
I only ride on the Russell's...the others are on a shelf in my garage
collecting dust.
