Just bought a 01 2 weeks ago! First fix? A 16 tooth front sprocket.
It was reving a bit high on the highway. I only have 400 miles on it,
sure would be nice to be able to ride to work, 40 miles at 40 degrees
ain't fun! I have a DR350 for the dirt and a 81 GPZ1100 for the
street. I've always wanted a KLR, but have never really had a chance
to pick one up. So with the gas prices and the recent article in
Cycle World, I did some math, showed the wife a big list of numbers
and said"Honey! We'd be SAVING money if I bought his". First tank
41.8 mpg. A little shy of 70 huh?
