Yeah, it does. I wonder why it is that KTM is the only company that sells
a motard-like bike here in the 'states. Or maybe it's outside of Japan?
I dunno -- does anyone know of a non-KTM motard that's sold outside of Japan?
BTW, I saw an ad in the Feb. issue of "Rider's Club" (Kakiuchi, about pg 9)
that included a Suzuki motard based presumably on the DR650 called the
'XF650'. I know it wouldn't make it to these shores with that name, but
what else could be keeping it?
OTOH, maybe Kakiuchi does custom fab type stuff and the XF650 is their
creation. But then why show it on a page otherwise filled with stockers?
I'm just too lazy to dig out the dictionary...

In the UK motard (Supermoto) bikes seem to be gaining in popularity. A
British company called CCM do a bike based around the Rotax lump.

Kawasaki do an SM bike (for the Jap market) based around the KLX250SR lump
called the D-Tracker. I don't have any links and I'm not even sure whether
it's still made ... Sorry
Husqvarna ,Husaberg and VOR also do SM bikes.
The Suzuki XF650 is called the 'Freewind' but I don't think that it sold too
well over here... It is a stock bike..

As you've probably guessed, I'm quite keen on supermoto bikes. I'd like to
do something with my old A1 but I guess I'll just change the wheels for
(prehaps) 17" ones when funds become available. The link above looks quite
good with the 17" rear and the 18" front so this has certainly given me food
for thought even though that bike appears to be based around the C model.

After checking out Pats "timeline" page, m'thinks the A1 is definitely the
best looking KLR to date. Close second being you guys with the blurghy bluish

You missed an outstanding option in the supermotard class, the MZ Black
Panther. If you are looking for good value like the KLR, the MZ has it. The
Yamaha motor is a workhorse.

Looks almost identical to my '95 KLXC3, except for graphics and that lowered
front fender. (oh yeah, the frame color on mine came in that gaud awful
purple)

Hello, there. In sweden there are a number of bikes. One MuZ that I do not
know the "name" of. And, KTM supercompetition 620 racing, KTM 640 LC4-E
supermoto, Husqvarna SM 610 S, Husaberg FE600E and finally VOR SE 503. There
