rear fender

To The List: Does anyone have a well-used/damaged/ratty rear inner fender they will part with? I have a Baja Designs license plate bracket to adapt and don't really want to chop my pretty good one. Anyone else done this? Dave

Hey guys, I guess what I failed to mention is that I to like to do my own work,(I've been working on bikes since I was 8) that's about 24yrs. The only reason I took it in was to check out the type of service & detail they would give me if I for some reason could not do the work myself. It was more than just the broken "thingy" that got me going on this. He also left the fan wires laying on the fan blade, left the fork boots where they were when he adj. the forks, they were not flush. He also left the black cover on the left hand side hanging. The reason I know what was done to the bike is because I checked it out thoroughly before I took it in. Like I said before I wanted to check out their service & attention to detail. If the bike had not been under warranty I would not have even bothered with the shop. I also like to do the work myself. All things aside, I am satisfied with the dealer because he readily agreed to fix the problem. The only thing is, when you do the job yourself you know,( If your experienced ) its done to suit you. I'm not out to blast mechanics here. Not all mechanics are bad mechanics. I just wont be taking the bike back for mechanic work at this dealer, that's all. I will still buy my parts & bikes from them. Satisfied, Steve T. A14 (KiLleR 637 miles [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
