Picked up my Bandit S 1200 Saturday, am loving it. Very nice looking , in champagne silver, and it is phukk'n'A extremely fast, even at the break-in rev limit. $7200 out-the-door, the MSRP was $7199 I believe. In CA you have 7.5% sales tax, and pay the DMW, on this bike it was about $150.....and the dealers like to charge freight and set-up fees (they make money on those, Duh!) which usually add up to $500 to $1000 California dollars (aren't those worth more than the other ones?) Bandito Bill R1100RS KLR Bandit 12S> almost $15,000 + fees. Same for the Honda RC51's.

anyone up for a trail ride in the duvall area sunday?
Hey gang,
I'm planning on heading out for a mixed ride out near Duvall this
Sunday, anybody up for coming along?
I was thinking of hitting a power line near me for a short warm up,
then a short scoot down some streets leading to some logging roads.
Then take the logging roads and streets up to Gold Bar, and ride Rt.
2 out to the Reiter Pit for some technical trails and mud. I rode the
Reiter Pit once, so I don't really know my way around it, but it
seems full of fun trails, so I don't see how it won't be a blast.
Any enduro bike would do fine (like a KLX) if it has knobbies (dot
are fine), a KLR would do ok, although you would definetly want some
dot knobbies, and minimize the amount of stuff you bring along.
I'd like to get an early start, the earlier the better. We could meet
at Alice's in lovely downtown Duvall for coffee and breakfast.
It'd be great to meet some more listers.
