Thanks, Gino! (still waiting for the credit union to call, although as far as I know my credit is flawless) Who knows, Gino....it's entirely possible I might like this bike and get rid of the BMW, something you would understand ......everyone seems to really say great things about it. I read up on a lot of reports, and like I told you I was lusting after a ZRX for a long time. But they are hard to get in CA, and the 2001s won't be (realtively) cheap like this end- of-year bandit. Myself being one of the world's greatest rationalizers, and not having any real adult responsibilities like children in school, I just tell myself I need a good work bike for riding around in the city where I live...I think this one will do it. Rational Bill interested in trying out the backroad bandito

Congrats! I too was looking at the Bandit but decided to get a 2001 KLR instead. A new bike is soooo much fun! I think I'll keep it in the dining room this winter. Peter B Bill E Goat wrote:

With the Fog City, you can keep the shield closed, and then there is no flow of cold air, so the glasses won't fog up either. Dreas

I wouldn't say it's possible that you might get rid of the beemer, but more like highly probable :) Gino

Gino, I am open-minded, and as much as I love that bike (R1100RS in black) anything is possible. However, I am looking forward to having all three here in the house, with my two little doggies. I know, it's perverted, but perverts have more fun! Bill still waiting to hear from the credit union.
