Has anyone heard  how Tina is doing.  I remember hearing that she had an accident back in the  early summer and I was wondering how she was doing.  Just curious. John A7

I should probably leave this to Tom, but from an e-mail I got from him, she is out of the hospital and undergoing re-hab. Apparently there is a long road ahead of her but she's making good progress. Considering the magnitude of the accident she was in, I'd say that's damn good news. Cheers, D. GBG eh14

Would like to thank you all for remembering Tina and her accident on May 31. She was out of the hospital for a time, but had to go back in due to some complications with the reconstructive surgery on her left leg. That is squared away, and she is staying at a long-time friend's house, who is graciously providing the oft-time 24/7 care she needs. She has been walking for about four weeks using a walker; not very far, but up and about nonetheless. She does PT from 9am-3pm every day. It's tough, but so is she, and wants me to find another bike for her! She is determined to ride again. The brain injury continues to improve, but she still has a tough time with detail-oriented things. I know she will persevere and overcome this obstacle that has thrown into her path through life. If there is any good in all of this, it certainly is her recovery, and the fact that her riding gear was key to her survival and recovery. So......wear all your protective gear, ALL the time! Tom

That is correct. The new 2001 Bandits have the throttle position sensor like the ZRX does. I like the Blandit and the 2001 models seem to have been better dialed compared to the pre-2000 models. I just think the ZRX is a very fine machine for the money too.... and its made by Kawasaki. Go Green! Gino
