i'm looking for someone to make me a thumb throttle for the left grip that i could use on occasion when my right hand needs relief. once i came across a severe washboard gravel rd. (from pavement) at 55 mph with water on each side 15 ft. below- i couldn't release my grip on the handle bars to unlock the throttle lock, the front end was so out of control i almost lost it. it seemed i needed to set it tight inorder to keep from slipping in normal usage. mark bend, oregon

My ex adapted a thumb throttle from a junked ATV to his -mine now- KLR650. I had it taken off by the dealer once I got the bike out of his greedy little hands. He also adapted a hand shifter to the foot shifter. That also came off once I kicked him out of the house. What's so dangerous about a throttle lock? Motomama

Yes, the F650 GS Dakar, according to inside sources at the Pentagon. I will leave the BRP to your imagination. You'll just have to come and see for yourself. Russel'r DSN_klr650@egroups.com Subject: [DSN_klr650] Re: Panamint Posse run Charles Manson Fun Run. Updated information
