how to determine proper tire inflation pressure for on-road ri
put between 20 and 35 psi in them, and don't worry about it. i never ever go
above 25 psi with mine (i live on a dirt road), and i ride with 15psi all
the time because i'm too lazy to use my hand pump to crank them back up to
pressure after a hard dirt ride, so i ride the 50-150 miles home, then use a
real pump when i get there. just be careful on tight turns if you ever let
your tires get that low.
i still seem to get more miles than average with my lackadaisical technique.
my kenda 270's have 5k on them, and they look only about 50-60% worn.
