Oh, yeah, muddy uphills and dual-sport tires are not a good match. I once
spent half a lifetime attacking a wet slope, picking up, cajoling and pushing
my Gripster-shod KLR650 uphill on the west side of Mosquito Pass (in
Colorado, USA). On this particular rainy afternoon, the Rockies had become
the slimies.

each other. It looks pretty simple & agricultural, but I would be more
confident about getting back into basic maintenance if I had a decent
manual. It seems that Haynes & Clymer aren't available, a Kawasaki one is
available for the KLR range, but not the 650 - and that one is 50 ($75) -
Amazon.com don't have anything.
Can anyone help out with where I can track down either a decent manual or
some other source for servicing information? - something that suits the UK
model of course. DSN_klr650@egroups.com
Good luck.
