Just my two cents, but.......I would recommend that you replace your fork springs and fork oil before adding air to your forks. Air is a poor agent for shocks because it heats up and causes "stiction." This stiction will cause your forks to behave improperly, especially if you are going to do some spirited riding. I changed my fork springs and fork oil in my KLR, I have weighed as much as 309lbs (now only 260lbs and still dropping) with good results. In fact, I usually let the air out of my forks every couple of days. Hope this helps. Jim Sherlock
