Wild dogs make me more nervous than most anything short of people. (Though
the mountain lion population is climbing and I apparently have one eating
the rock chucks in my yard). Ruger SP101, .357cal. Small, light, easy to
pack, point and shoot simple, and won't blow your leg off when you fall.
