nklr new bike fever.....it comes and goes

the Illustrated parts breakdown(y2klr) shows parts for a kick start. Does anyone know about installing it? The local Kawasaki dealer told a fried of mine it couldn't be fitted. Any comment?

Sitting at the office, suffering from new bike fever....I have credit left unused and still there is space in my living room for another motorcycle....the salesman at the Ducati place says I can have a 2000 Monster 750 in Yellow for $5999......lead me not into temptation but send the new motorcycle please.........I am thinking how nice that sucker will look in the living room, and I have no one to tell me not to do it....
