Thanks Andy! Your info came in handy and I ended up doing some of the roads you mentioned. I did Scenic 7 the entire length from Hot Springs to Jasper and back to Hot Springs. And you are right, the KLR could have kept up or even dusted the Connie on some parts. I did see one other guy on a Y2K KLR and looked like he was riding with someone on a 12R! That was my first trip to Arkasas and I am already looking foward to getting back there soon. It sure rivals the Texas Hill Country for twisties and the roads seem to all be fairly new smooth blacktop unlike the rough Texas gravel and oil mix in the Hill Country here. It will take many trips back to be able to ride most of those roads both paved and unpaved. Tough decision is which bike to take! LOL I have my eye on a left over Y2K 9R and that will make it even tougher! But being that this area can be reached from Dallas on just a weekend off makes it a sure thing that I will return often. By the way I ended up leaving Branson, Mo at 2:30 pm and rode 7 back through Hot Springs to I-30 to Dallas and made it home by exactly midnight! Semper Fi !
