KLR650a15- after much offroading in the TX hill country I finally got
thrown. I climbed a steep hill and then was covering a very rough
section with a lot of cinders(best descrition I could come up with)I
bounced over one sharp mound and landed at the wrong angle.Got thrown
like I was on a wild bronco. I started falling downhill from the bike
so I bailed.Narrowly missed having it land on my right leg and got a
good bone bruise on the left shin where I caught the gas tank as I
dove off the right side. The bike survived intact. It now has official
battle scars. The right radiator shroud, front fender,& brake lever
cover look like you ran a cheese grater across them.So it's
officially broken in.

Congratulations! Now go get a bottle of Zymol and wax that baby, so you don't have scratches, but pretty, shiny scratches.

Does anyone on the list have a Broshtex Power Cool jacket? If so, I
would sure like to hear what you think about it.
You can check them out at
