introduction from a new list member

Hi folks,
I'm Joe, and I'm a motorcycle addict. (so started his twelve step program
speech)
Been an avid motorcyclist for over 30 years, mostly street duty. Started
off in '74, at 14, on dirt with a Suzuki two stroke street bike converted
for dirt duty. (i.e. knobbies) From there I progressed through many bikes,
both practical and fantasy. Been into long distance riding since
mid-eighties and into the IBA rides and rallies since mid-nineties. Got
heavily into dual-sporting in '95 on a new KLR650. Ridden everything from
dirt bikes, Harleys and Sport bikes to Gold Wings and Beemers. A couple of
days ago I picked up another '99 KLR650 am looking forward to getting back
into trail riding and off-highway "adventure" touring. Also looking forward
to the interaction on this list.
