Although if you've been riding with earplugs, and then ride without, the KLR sure seems to have some mechanical noise within its heart.

Unfortunately, no I have not, just learned to live with it for now. I had my local MC shop mechanic look at it. He showed me where exactly the noise was coming from, the prongs inside the plug going into the light. He fiddled with it to no avail. He said NOT to put any type of lube on it because it would most certainly blow out the headlight. Anyone out there have any suggestions? "Ralph E. Hanson" wrote:
