I went to the Ruidoso thing back in the 70s, it was called the
Aspencade then, rode a XT500 Yamaha to it, boy did I get some looks,
even packed the wife on the back, blew off some Harley riders in the
twistys ( some things never change ) going to it, was a big event
then,
but haven't heard much about it anymore ( I moved away from NM )
