Hey group....good to see you back..was wondering how come I saw no messages
for a while. I am new to the group and posted a few weeks back about buying
a used 00' klr. The guy still has the bike and after reading about the
oregon back country trip...well anyways, it is going for $4,000...it has les
than 500 miles..436 to be exact, just had the 500 mile service, aftermarket
bash plate, grips and hand guards....as well as a supertrapp....not the ids
I believe..its the one where you can see the discs on the exterior. All in
all...maybe one or two very minor scratchs..never really offroad..So, bottom
line..is it a good buy? Just wondering after seeing one here on the list for
3500!

That sounds like a good deal to me. None of the dealers around San
Antonio would come down more than 50 or 60 bucks off list price of $5000
for an '01. My son had the same problem in Dallas. I would jump on
that $4000 deal.
