Can anyone recommend a good, breathable cover for my KLR? I keep it
in a carport, so it doesn't have to be waterproof or sun-resistant.
Maybe something that could be ordered on-line?
Thanks,
Jay

14t -> 16t sprockets
I haven't tried the 16t yet. I put my 15t back on and like it for overall
use, Kawi did their homework on that one. I have a 14t here but I find it a
serious pain in the ass the change. What is your secret? I gotta pull the
rear axle nut cotter pin, loosen the bolt, kick the wheel to loosen the
chain a LOT, undo the 3 bolts holding the plastic cover over the front
sprocket, hammer down the locking washer, undo the big bolt, get super
greasy and gritty getting the front sprocket off and then do everything in
reverse. Not fun. I haven't tried just undoing the master clip on my chain
yet, so maybe that's the ticket to an easy job. That doesn't take into
consideration chain slack. I'm putting my 14t on next time I need to adjust
the chain, but THAT's it. Too messy and time consuming for what should be a
quick job.
