to slime or not to slime ?

Post by Jim Hyman » Sat Sep 16, 2000 2:54 pm

Bob, I installed "heavy duty" slime and have not noticed any ill effects. Both Gripster tires were faily new & balanced before they were slimed. To cut down on slime-ing my tire pressure guage, I position the valve stem at 5:00 - 7:00 & wait 5 or more minutes for the slime to drain out of valve stem. This works better than positioning the valve stem in the 10:00 - 2:00 position. Several listers have reported good results with Slime's sealing abilities. You can use the eGroups SEARCH feature when logged on to the website, to check out Slime posts. Professor A9 Federal Way, WA. [USA] ++++++++++++++++++++++ --- bshaf@d... wrote:
