I'm curious about the Avon Gripster AM24 Iwas thinking about getting
them but heard they suck on wet pavement. My klr is my primary
transport so I will definetely be riding in the rain, although not
much(I'm in TX). Any comments and experiences will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hey listers,
I met a guy on Honda XL600R with Michelin t66 front and rear. Said they are
the best tires he had on in the last 10 years. They stick to the road even
in hard rain. His riding area is rocky and he is very satisfied with its
performance. He never tried them on wet grass but supposes the would hold
that too.
Now, the rear comes only as 140/80 and I'm a bit worried it might be too
wide cause there is 1cm (0.4inch) on each side of my rear Dunlop trailmax.
Has anyone mounted the rear t66 on our KLRs? It seems to me this tire would
fit, but I just wanna be sure noone has ever had problems with the rear
width.
Has anyone had both the siracs and the t66s on to compare and tell us which
are better for 80% road and 20% off? The trailmaxes realy suck offroad: I
only ride on wet grass when I feel suicidal, and believe me - I wanna
live...
Thanks for any advice

P.S. If there has to be a name, how about KORDS (Kawasaki Org. for Riding
Dual Sports) although I think the list is great even without such a name...
