Neat design.... How about making the KLR completely solid and fit the continents inside of that silhouette. Then find a clever place for our name..... if we ever pick one. :) My opinion on selecting a name is thus: I like KORG. But aside from that we got 10% or our populace to vote, the other 90% abstained. That's typical. Reasons to abstain are varied but most of those people don't really care what the vote ends up being. My guess is that most of those 90% are here for information purposes only, they aren't interested as much in the comradery of the list, they don't care to meet the rest of the list in MOAB or any other place, they don't need to be part of a clic to enjoy riding their KLR's. They are 100% right, they don't need to be identified with a clic, they don't need to meet others in MOAB to enjoy the KLR and they don't need to wear a patch to be considered cool on their KLR. The 10% that voted do want that aspect of what the list offers.... great... and that 10% has spoken. We've been typing about a name for quite some time, if the other 90% wanted to be heard then we would have heard them by now. A "no vote" button and a "don't care" button in the list of options may have been valuable, but..... Don't wallow through an election and then bitch about who/what got elected..... typical..... here your voice is heard, we are almost a captive audience and hey ..... we'll listen and flame and comment and add to just about anything that comes in. I am here for the information AND the comradery. I have a very busy life but enjoy sharing my common interests with others. I would proudly place a XXXX sticker on my bike, and would certainly not sew a patch on my waterproof jacket, but I'd look for the logo on other KLRs I encountered. Well FWIW.... there's my rant.... Hey Dash! I agree almost completely! I don't like KORG as much as KOG but, in the end, it just doesn't matter to me. I think "Gonzo" is a stupid name for my favorite toy but that's what I named it anyway. Why? Because I hate being all serious and nose deep in work all day and then having to be serious at night too. A dash of humor (heh heh, get it?) makes life much easier to enjoy. I am here for the camaradere as well as the tech stuff. I'll proudly put a sticker on my bike (it will be the only one) but what is on it doesn't mean as much to me as the fact that it associates me with this group of folks. (But please, no BORG pictures, unless it's of 7 of 9...) (...all that plus I can't get to egroups from work so I can't vote...) My $.02 Jim Jackson II A13 "Gonzo" *grin* 83 XR350
