I've used a stolen milk crate with good results, had to add two pieces of 2X4 to keep the KLR from wobbling because of the Moose skid plate. The crate also makes a good storage box when not being used to hold up the KLR. I don't know if you can store stuff in the Moose Lifter or not. I think the Dual-Star center stand is more useful than a crate or a lift (unless you are going to use it on many bikes). Harry Thames the guy with the ugly green A-14 South Carolina
