Y2KFLHT: I have been to Oahu and you are right they do have a 6 month quarantine on dogs entering Hawaii -- so does England, but they are changing. I am aware that some countries quarantine dogs and that is precisely why I went to the trouble of contacting all 23 consulates of the countries I want to enter. Before I leave I will request the consulates to provide letters regarding border crossing regulations to show to border guards or whoever tries to cause me unnecessary problems. If I have problems anyway I will post them here. By the way, Mexico has a Department of Tourism that is very powerful and highly sympathetic to tourists who are being hassled improperly by Mexican officials or business people or whoever. I have used them in the past to resolve problems. Lew
