For those of you in and around western NC, be advised of a Dual-Sport rally near Wilkesboro, NC on the weekend of October 6-8. It's actually a BMW-GS International club event but all types of motorcycles are welcome. It will be held at "Turkey Tom's" High Country Cycle Camp off of US 421 between Wilkesboro and Boone, NC. $30.00 at the gate gets you 2 nights of camping and Friday and Saturday night meal. 150 mile dual-sport ride, awards and door prizes.
