Happened to me as well. I took my dremel tool and carved what looks like a 7 out of the bracket (leaving an opening where shifter hits frame). I do believe one other lister moved his shifter as well but didn't like the position so ground his bracket as I did. Mike Awesome A1 klr650> A13
Same thing here. I didn't want to raise the shift lever as it's a little too high already. Looked at carving up the left rear attachment bracket, and came to the conclusion there wouldn't be much left anyway, so I did the lazy thing, and simply left it off! It's been working just fine so far. Anyone else?>>
