I'm for KOG. KORG is not a bad second choice but awfully close to "BORG". I would like to have this group organize to a point where we could get some recognition (BMWOA). I don't think associating ourselves with the dudes who wear Star Trek uniforms to William Shatner conventions is exactly what I had in mind. KLITS is kind of stupid though I do see the perverted humor in it. Flame me if you feel you must. My delete button works very well and I'm pretty thick skinned. >>come on there must be some real men in this group? get in there and vote >for >>KLITS?????? >>wayne > >Or real 12 year olds.... >
In defense of myself as I created the poll, I went through the suggested names throughout the threads and placed options for the most popular; any name suggestion with more than one e-mail reflecting a positive tone. My favorite has been voted for, I have to say it is not derogatory to anybody, you vote the way you wish. Just say the name outloud to yourself, if it sounds wrong, don't choose it. == Rev. Since the dawn of time... or Dawn's time... or the start of this list many moona ago... I'm not sure which... this group has affectionatelly been going by the unofficial moniker "Borg"... You will come around, as resistance is futile. One of the collective...

----- Original Message ----- From: Gary Weaver > Listers, > Yes, please keep this thread NKLR. Poll question? How many of our > group have felt they have been singled out by a LEO unfairly (bike > related only) How many have had a positive experience with a LEO (bike > related) Last spring, I was headed up to the mountains in N Georgia, and was following a slow poke in a car for several miles when 2 crotch rockets came up behind me. One of them passed me and the car in front of me. And I followed. We didnt even finish passing before we seen a cop sitting on the side of the road running radar. The cop imediately pulled us over, and this was the biggest red neck cop I've ever had the mispleasure of meeting, and scolded us both for speeding and passing in a no passing zone. He clocked the other guy going almost 40mph over and was going to write him a speeding ticket too, but he didnt get me on radar so he was going to only write me up for passing in no passing zone. He took our licenses back to his car. Then he came back, and really started chewing the other guy out. It so happens, the other rider was a cop too! hee hee hee hee! I didnt laugh then, but it was pretty funny. We both got off scott free! So I guess I could say, a cop saved me from getting a ticket...
