I think Brian just missed his dose of Ritalin today.
On a positive note.... I have to say that in all my experiences with
tickets (lots of 'em), PA State Police are generally the most
courteous and professional cops I've dealt with (unlike Erie County
Sheriffs in NY, who are militant psychos). I got nabbed last month
doing 63 in a 40. I went to court and we negotiated a speed of 51 in
a 40, which cut the points in half and returned 1/3 of the total fine
to me. I always go to court and negotiate a plea.
Also, BY LAW in PA, ONLY the PSP can use radar. This prevents
municipalities from fishing for revenue...cool huh?

[dsn_klr650] nklr splitting

I believe You are correct in that lane splitting is legal in California
largely because it had the support of our buds in the CHP motorcycle units.
The cops wanted to split lanes , so they made it law for everyone. A calif
cop would have to be incompetent if he didn't know it was OK to split lanes.
