After removing about 2 square inches of the decal I realized that the gas tank has a clearcoat resin sprayed over the graphics! Feeling pretty stupid, I continued removing the tank graphics "bit by bit", until it was all off. When you look at the gas tank it is very obvious where the graphics were, because the clearcoat is missing.I am wondering if anyone has a idea on how to soften the lines between the clearcoat and the bare paint, to make this less noticeable. Any input is appreciated.Thanks.

I think the only options you would have are to have the whole tank re- painted (clear coat only). Or, if the lines are straight ad your own tape stripe design. John Magee a13
