I decided that I really didn't like the decal graphics on the bike. I asked the dealer how to remove them. He said to soften the glue with a blow dryer and they will peel right off. I started with the radiator shroud, and sure enough the thing came right off. so I moved on to the gas tank. This is where I ran into real problems. The thing would not come off in one piece, After removing about 2 square inches of the decal I realized that the gas tank has a clearcoat resin sprayed over the graphics! Feeling pretty stupid, I continued removing the tank graphics "bit by bit", until it was all off. When you look at the gas tank it is very obvious where the graphics were, because the clearcoat is missing.I am wondering if anyone has a idea on how to soften the lines between the clearcoat and the bare paint, to make this less noticeable. Any input is appreciated.Thanks. -Bill
