finnaly got it covered

After having my bike (A14) for almost a year ( it'll be a year 9/4/00 at 10:30 am) and watching the green plastic turn from a nice solid green to a whitish faded blotchy green, I covered it. The whole reason I went from a VFR 750 -> 1100 Katana -> 650 GPZ -> 1200 FXR -> KLR 650 was the decreased need to clean it as frequently as the other bikes. I was going to take the plunge and invest in one until I replaced the tarp on my make-shift, low-income garage with a new one. I cut off a piece to cover my bike and made a cover with it. It looked like the gifts I wrap for Xmas. I had to continually remind myself not to go to tight. It worked great, and I saved some buckarubies too. Hey, maybe I can talk the wifey into invest the money I saved us into a pair of riding boots. We'll see . . . Aloha, John Rodriguez
